Scanning of microfilms

We scan existing microfilms of any type, coloured or black-and-white, 16 mm / 35 mm / 105 mm, roll film and sheet film as well as special formats. The aim of every retro conversion is to transfer the analogue film archive into a modern, structured digital database.

  • Scanning of the following microfilm formats: 16 mm , 35 mm, 105 mm, 23 cm
  • All formats optionally available in black-and-white, greyscales, or colour
  • Roll films, microfiches, punch cards, and multi-track jackets
  • Roll films of 30 / 40 / 60 meters length, 600 to  20'000 pages per roll film according to the reduction factor (7.5 to 50 times)
  • Roll films with or without blip (blip, middle blip, long blip)
  • Simplex and duplex / positive and negative / master and diazo film
  • Free choice of resolution

  • Scanning of film punch cards with a resolution up to 600 dpi in black-and-white or greyscales
  • Re-enlargements up to DIN A0
  • Readout of the hollerith code to define sizes and file names
